The hostal was founded in 1970 with a great tradition and dedication to the hotel and tourism industry. The third generation is now following the family tradition, as it has changed over time. Our goal is to give the highest quality and service to our guests.

Our establishment is located at the base of the Montsacopa Volcano, in downtown Olot. It is a privileged location with a great view where you will be very close to the center of the city.

The Sant Bernat d’Olot Hostal is located at the base of the Montsacopa Volcano, a verdant, peaceful and well located area, three minutes from the main square and with pretty views.

Our services
Our establishment recognizes the new changes that, in collaboration with Turisma Garrotxa and with the assistance of the ADAPT program, carries out reforms and new ways of enjoying tourism.
Our hostal, in addition to allowing you to enjoy the peacefulness and nature, is also a center of information where you will be able to receive advice about our county, depending on each person’s interests.
We also have a garage set up for the bicycles that accompany our guests throughout our county.

Our rooms
Our hostal has 37 rooms outfitted with bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, and television sets. Hot water is heated through solar panels; in the rooms, the lights and switches use low levels of energy ... as much as possible, we are especially sensitive to saving energy.

Our restaurant
Our restaurant offers a daily varied menu service from 8:30 to 10:00 at night, with out specialty: Slices of country bread with cured meats typical of the region. We also have bar service.

Guarantee Terms and Conditions

As hotel prices can change frequently, you must contact us promptly by email priceguarantee@hotelerum.com, but in any event within 24 hours of purchasing your hotel room through el hotel. Your email should include the following information: your name, el hotel reservation number and the website where the lower rate is available. Incomplete or inaccurate emails will not be taken into account.

The guarantee is not applicable for same day bookings.

The guarantee only applies in respect of a lower rate that is available for online booking. The lower online rate must be bookable when el hotel validate your claim, within the 24 hour period, screen shots will not be accepted as proof.

The lower rate must be found online for an equivalent room at the same hotel as booked through el hotel on the same check-in and check-out dates with the same booking conditions.

The lower rate must be in the same currency.

el hotel will only match the difference between our rate and the lower rate if your reservation through el hotel is completed and not cancelled or the subject of a no-show.

If the claim is unsuccessful as it is not in accordance with our lowest rate guarantee terms and conditions, our terms and conditions of booking, including the cancellation policy are still applicable.

Lowest Rate Guarantee does not apply to hotel rooms purchased through or in combination with membership rates, frequent stay, loyalty points or other "reward" type programs or special promotions of the hotel where the booking is made. Lower rates available through opaque sites where the exact hotel isn't known until after booking are also excluded from the guarantee.
