The hostal was founded in 1970 with a great tradition and dedication to the hotel and tourism industry. The third generation is now following the family tradition, as it has changed over time. Our goal is to give the highest quality and service to our guests.

Our establishment is located at the base of the Montsacopa Volcano, in downtown Olot. It is a privileged location with a great view where you will be very close to the center of the city.

The Sant Bernat d’Olot Hostal is located at the base of the Montsacopa Volcano, a verdant, peaceful and well located area, three minutes from the main square and with pretty views.

• Surroundings
Olot is the capital of the county of la Garrotxa. It is a city that is especially well known because if its natural interest and because it makes up part of the la Garrotxa Volcano Zone Natural Park. The municipal boundaries of Olot contain four volcanoes – Montolivet, Montsacopa, Garrinada, and Bisaroques. Close to Olot there is also a rich natural heritage with the Aiguamolls de la Deu i la Moixina (a forest with marshes), la Fageda d'en Jordà (exceptional in Catalonia and in the Mediterranean climate because it is on flat ground), the Santa Margarida volcano (which has a large crater with a chapel in the middle) and the Croscat volcano (with a large cut out of it, which is a result of the extraction of clay that was carried out in this volcano and allows for the observation of the interior layers of clay).
